Call for contributors: Medicine, Slavery, Race-Making

Medicine and the Making of Race, a UK-based research project, is seeking contributions for an ongoing blog series aimed at showcasing new sources for the study of medicine, slavery, and race-making.

Blog posts should be around 1,000 words long and introduce/discuss a specific source which speaks to one or more of the above themes. We particularly welcome posts on sources which are not in English. We offer feedback and editorial advice, as well as a modest payment of £250 on completion of a post.

More details on the project, as well as examples of previous blog posts, can be found on our website: https://www.mmor.co.uk/blog.

Please reach out via the project email address (mmor@kcl.ac.uk) to pitch an idea for a post, or to ask any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!
